The whole Langhe area features an extraordinary diversity of soils and microclimates. nebbiolo is a very eclectic variety: from grounds rich in quartz sands and very fine silt, it takes fragrant and fruity scents. The result is a wine with impeccable harmony from the start, with graceful tannins and broad and immediate expression of the bouquet.

The colour is a brilliant ruby, rather deep, with charming mauve hues. The aroma opens with fragrant scents of berries that give gradually way to a note of wild violet. As for taste, the softness of nebbiolo combines well with the lively freshness of Barbera, in a mix that enhances the qualities of this wine. Very slight tannins wash the palate clean.

Thanks to its freshness and immediate pleasantness, it is excellent with starters in general, pastas and light second courses. With its smooth and subtle charm it is the ideal wine for convivial occasions.
