The climatic trend has only partially helped us and therefore we had to multiply our efforts in the vineyard in order to obtain a satisfactory quality of the grapes and a degree of ripeness in line with our expectations. Through appropriate and frequent thinning of the bunches we have reduced the production per hectare, so that the plant can concentrate the accumulation of sugars and noble constituents on a smaller quantity of grapes. The white grapes were the first to be harvested, with a yield per hectare lower than average but with a good quality, which bodes well structured, fresh wines with a non-invasive alcohol content. The harvesting of the red grapes has just begun, with Dolcetto leading the way: the health is good, the quality and alcohol content in line with expectations and the yield per hectare, also in this case, lower than average.
